Why you need it & how it works

preview-page-whitepaper-synchronization

You often hear that synchronization is important when a measurement campaign consists of more than one data acquisition system. But why?

Because each system has an individual timing error in the ppm range. When starting a long time recording, there will be a time drift between two devices with different timing errors. Synchronization is an easy way to avoid this problem.

In our whitepaper, we explain what synchronization is, how it works and what different signals can be used to synchronize measurement devices.
